Hello GMA members – As you may have heard, USC has been invited to participate in a GE-sponsored case competition against Notre Dame. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain some exposure to GE, and also has some nice perks as well.

1. Show up this Wednesday from 3:30-4:30 in JKP 210. Exact details of the competition will be given at this meeting. THIS MEETING IS MANDATORY IF YOU WANT TO PARTICIPATE IN THE COMPETITION.
2. Start forming your teams (teams of 5). We will cover how to form your teams at the meeting on Wednesday.
3. Mark your calendars for October 1st from 2:00-10:00 PM. The entire first round of the competition will be taking place then.
4. Winners will be flown to South Bend and participate in a case competition on Friday Oct 16th. ND students will be acting as hosts for the weekend, and tickets for the ND vs USC football game will be given to participants free of charge. Several meals will be free as well.
5. There is a catch: Second years are encouraged to participate in the case competition, but will only be allowed to participate in the first round (and only 1 second year per team). Please come to the meeting if you are interested. If you have class, but still want to participate, please email:

This is a great opportunity to gain exposure to case competitions and General Electric. Again, the meeting on Wednesday is MANDATORY if you want to participate in the competition.
